What is this site about?

Intersecting students who have text books to sell to students who are looking to buy secondhand text books. There are obviously people doing the same course in the year above who want to get rid of their text books, but who would know? It's not like they wear a label on their tee-shirts. Likewise, there are people a year below doing the same course who want to buy the secondhand books.

I have some text books to sell, how do I sell them?

You need to register as a member first (registration is free), log in and then click on the ‘Sell a Book’ icon on the Sell a Book home page.

There are a few steps:

Start by creating a new list. Insert each book and it's details. You might not get this all done in one hit but you come back to it later on. Just log back into 'Sell a Book' and press 'Retrieve List' option.

When you are finished with the list and wish to put it out there for the public to search then you have to POST it. This requires you to fill in some other details like email address and mobile number for contact purposes. To post you hit the 'Post List' button. Don't forget to do this because if you don't POST it then no one can see it.

Nb: You can always delete parts of your list, update it or delete the entire list. Just go back into 'Sell a Book' and press 'Retrieve List' option. Alternatively, you can go to 'Change my Post' and do it from here.
